When you want to make changes in your life, it can seem as if there is something that will keep you from achieving your goal. Life happens and moves you from your thought patterns and most time you forget or get side tracked from what it is t you want to do. Those are the times it helps if you remember to come back to the center. Some times you will need to leave notes around your house to remind you to come back to the center, maybe in your day book or where ever you will see it and respond accordingly.
You can't stop life from happening, but you can stop yourself from beating up on yourself because you missed a day for two from doing what it was you where trying to do. For myself, I keep a journal of what it is I want to do. Everyday I write in the journal or on a calendar the things that I did for that day related to my overall plan. If Life happens and I miss a day for two, I don't fret, I just move yourself back to the center. It may take you a little longer to achieve your goal but you will get there if you bring yourself back to the center.
The Center for me is where ever the outcome of my situation will take me. Let me give you an example. I created a program for myself that is 260 days long. I chose 260 days because in the Tzolkin system of the Olmec/Mayan people it takes 260 days to go from the beginning of the Tzolkin to the end of it. It also takes 260 days to give birth to a baby, So for my program, I wanted to create a new upgraded version of myself. I want to live with more integrity in my life with regard of how I live my life. A more healthy version of myself. So I created a program to do just that. On certain days I juice, take an enema, a detox bath, do Chi Gong and things like that. On other days I will do other things, walk, vaginal streaming, breathing exercise, oiling my feet with essential oils and things like that. For days things may go smoothly and then one day, I may miss.my activities. But, as we know it, these things don't always happen just one day and I might miss several days. But, I do write in my calendar journal, everyday that I do what I am suppose to do. When I miss those days, and write nothing I can keep up with how many days I miss. If I have missed too many days, I know that I have to get back to the center. Because of this I have not missed as many days as I would normally miss and I have not quit at my program. This means progress on so many level and I am so pleased with myself.
We have to find ways to go forward in our lives and not beat ourselves up. We can be successful at everything we do and not sabotage ourselves. We just have to create ways to help us move forward. I just thought I would share with you how I move forward, Try it if you need help and see if it works for you. But, you do have to be determine at what it is you are working to do otherwise you won"t care when you miss any days you will just continue to fall into the trap and never go forward.
