"There is no Passion to be found PLAYING SMALL, in settling for a LIFE that is less than the one you are capable of Living.....

Joy is part of our essence, the underlying feeling that we all have access to. We each have a basic love of joy and a deep desire to relate to one another in joyful ways.

However, most of us have buried our joys beneath layers of judgments and repressed feelings.  The challenge before us is to keep peeling off the layers until the joy is uncovered and allowed to fill and overflow our being.

There is no substitute for this procedure, and it is a truly personal journey for each of us.  We cannot do it for another. We can only support a person who is going through the process himself.

We must understand that our joy is real.  We will know the truth of these principles only when we open our hearts and allow ourselves to feel their validity.  Connecting with the principles at the feeling level inspires us to release the joy within and to allow it to become an ever-increasing part of our lives.

Of one thing we can be certain: Joy will always be here--in us and in everyone else.  The quality of our lives thus depends upon:

     1.  the degree to which we are willing to recognize that
the feeling of joy is real.

     2.  the degree to which we are willing to release the joy
          within; and

     3.  the degree to which we recognize that the only
obstacle to releasing joy is our unwillingness to open
our hearts to feel love for everyone and every

The more we connect with the joy within, the more real it becomes for us.  Put another way, if we wish to achieve a life of total joy, we have to be willing to connect with the joy that is our essence.  Remember, Means and ends are the same.  To achieve joy, we feel and express the joy within us every moment.

In La'Kesh, (I am another yourself)  Peace and Love
