Means and Ends are the Same

We are a society dedicated to end results, to goals and many of us spend a great potion of their lives working to achieve goals. Some of these goals are set by other people, most often by our parents or other authority figures.  Other goals we set for ourselves.

The high achievers among us are relentless in fulfilling their goals, and there is much respect for and many rewards offered to these high achievers.  Moreover, as a society we hold the belief that the ends justify the means. The person who risks his health, happiness, family and friends to fulfill his goals is often considered a model of success.

To a remarkable degree, we are willing and ready to sacrifice the present moment for some future goal.  One of the most common examples of this phenomenon is the persons who works hard at a job for forty years--a job that is not fulfilling--is order to retire with pension so that he may enjoy a life of ease and contentment.

We wage wars as a way to assure peace.  We punish people thinking that punishment will reduce crime.  We believe that we can achieve a certain result by taking an opposite action.  And although we have mounds of evidence to the contrary, we continue to hold on to the belief that the ends justify the means.

The truth is simple and direct.  Means and ends are the same.  The means chosen to achieve a result become the result.

*To achieve peace, we feel and express our inner peacefulness, moment by moment.
*To experience unconditional love and support, we feel and express our
unconditional love and support for everyone and everything in every moment.

*To enjoy a life that works perfectly, we see and feel the perfection of everything
and everyone including ourselves, at all times.

*To experience the natural abundance of the Universe, we feel and express gratitude
for the abundance all around us.  We must understand that abundance is not
something you acquire, it is something you tune into. It is a high frequency.

In La'Kesh (I am another yourself) Peace and Blessings
